Her name means in Slavic area with lots of water. Length is approximately 200 m. Less than Psani located east of the old harbor. To the west of the beach there is a pond with ducks and swans, which show quite familiar with passersby!
There are numerous ouzo taverns and cafes under the plane trees. On the eastern side of the beach is the neighborhood of Venus, where you can see the so-called ‘fountain of love’. A local legend like the goddess Aphrodite bathed here. All the unmarried and widows come in spring, hoping that the blessed waters will help to find mates. Illegible ancient Greek inscription on a rock next to the source, allegedly belonging to the sanctuary of Asclepius who was here.
